What we collect
Troviro collects the email address used for magic-link authentication, Google account identifiers and basic profile information when you use Google authentication, and account information needed to keep you signed in.
When you use the product, we may store saved places, collections, Found It confirmations, clues, contribution and verification history, uploaded photos and captions, and coordinates you submit for places or Photo Spots.
How we use information
We use this information to provide your account, restore your map, moderate contributions, attribute community knowledge, prevent abuse, improve discovery quality and operate the service.
Service providers and analytics
Troviro runs on Cloudflare, including Workers, security, network and file-storage services. We may use privacy-conscious analytics and operational logs to understand reliability and usage. Authentication email is delivered through Resend; Google processes Google sign-in under its own privacy terms.
Basic traffic statistics
We count successful public page loads as daily totals in the Asia/Bangkok timezone. These statistics store no visitor identifier, account ID, IP address, full page URL, referrer or device information, and set no analytics cookie or browser identifier. Reloads count again, so these totals are not unique visitors. Known bots, previews, test traffic and private pages are excluded. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. These totals are separate from advertising and are not shared with Meta.
Optional detailed measurement
Through Product measurement preferences in the footer, you may separately allow session-based page and action measurement. It is off until you allow it. Some activity can be linked to your signed-in account. It excludes private text and photos. You can decline or withdraw this permission at any time; we also honor browser privacy signals. This choice does not authorize Meta advertising measurement.
Advertising measurement
After you allow advertising measurement, Troviro uses Meta Pixel on the campaign landing, discovery home and the three campaign places to send PageView and ViewContent events. Meta may receive page URLs, device and browser information, IP address and cookie identifiers, and process these under Meta’s Privacy Policy. Troviro sends only public place identifiers as event parameters; it does not send your account email, name, saved notes or search text, and does not enable Advanced Matching or Conversions API. We do not load Meta Pixel before you allow it. Declining does not prevent browsing. Use Advertising preferences in the footer to change your choice. We store your choice on this browser for 180 days; Meta controls its own retention. Revoking stops future Pixel events and removes the Meta cookies accessible to this site; it does not recall events already sent.
Retention and deletion
Account and contribution data is retained while your account or the related discovery record remains active, and longer where necessary for safety, legal compliance, dispute handling or attribution history. You may request account access, correction or deletion. Public contributions may be anonymized rather than removed where keeping a factual moderation trail is necessary. Photo Spot originals and versioned licence records are retained for provenance and disputes while the contribution is active or a legal claim requires them. Rejected or incomplete uploads and unused derivatives are reviewed for deletion after 90 days; licence evidence remains. We do not collect your IP address as part of the Photo Spot licence record.
Your choices
You can browse without an account. You can choose Google or email authentication and decide whether to save, confirm or contribute. Do not submit precise private-home locations or personal information about another person.
