What we collect

Troviro collects the email address used for magic-link authentication, Google account identifiers and basic profile information when you use Google authentication, and account information needed to keep you signed in.

When you use the product, we may store saved places, collections, Found It confirmations, clues, contribution and verification history, uploaded photos and captions, and coordinates you submit for places or Photo Spots.

How we use information

We use this information to provide your account, restore your map, moderate contributions, attribute community knowledge, prevent abuse, improve discovery quality and operate the service.

Service providers and analytics

Troviro runs on Cloudflare, including Workers, security, network and file-storage services. We may use privacy-conscious analytics and operational logs to understand reliability and usage. Authentication email is delivered through Resend; Google processes Google sign-in under its own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Account and contribution data is retained while your account or the related discovery record remains active, and longer where necessary for safety, legal compliance, dispute handling or attribution history. You may request account access, correction or deletion. Public contributions may be anonymized rather than removed where keeping a factual moderation trail is necessary. Photo Spot originals and versioned licence records are retained for provenance and disputes while the contribution is active or a legal claim requires them. Rejected or incomplete uploads and unused derivatives are reviewed for deletion after 90 days; licence evidence remains. We do not collect your IP address as part of the Photo Spot licence record.

Your choices

You can browse without an account. You can choose Google or email authentication and decide whether to save, confirm or contribute. Do not submit precise private-home locations or personal information about another person.

Using Troviro

Troviro is a community discovery guide. Place details, opening hours, access conditions, prices and map locations can change or be incomplete. Verify important information before travelling and visit places at your own risk, respecting local rules, property boundaries and safety conditions.

Community submissions

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of places, Photo Spots, coordinates, clues, confirmations, captions and other material you submit. Do not post unlawful, deceptive, dangerous, abusive, discriminatory, invasive, spammy or rights-infringing content.

Photos and licence

Only upload photos you created or have sufficient rights to license. You retain copyright. For a Photo Spot, each upload requires an explicit, versioned, non-exclusive, worldwide licence limited to operating, presenting and sharing that Photo Spot and the Troviro service: its page, thumbnails, cards, map, search, discovery and link previews on LINE, Facebook, X and other services. The licence permits necessary resizing, cropping, compression, format conversion, CDN caching and preview variants. It does not permit selling the photo, unrelated third-party sublicensing or unrelated paid advertising. The photographer is credited on the Photo Spot page. Other community content is licensed for operating and presenting Troviro under the existing contribution terms. Removal requests may leave backups, legal evidence and moderation records where necessary.

Moderation and accounts

We may review, label, reject, edit for clarity or remove submissions, and may restrict or suspend accounts that threaten safety, trust or service operation. Community verification is not a guarantee of accuracy or endorsement.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Troviro is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular trip. Troviro is not responsible for losses arising from changed place information, third-party services, unsafe conduct or reliance on community content.
